Kathy's Half Marathon!

Kathy ran the Knoxville Half Marathon today and met all of her goals! She finished in about 2:51. We are awaitng final results to be posted. I ran with her and we crossed the finish line together, hand-in-hand, at the 50-yard line in Neyland Stadium. Great experience. Kathy was thrilled. Lots of fun along the way with bands playing and lots of people. That was my training for the day.

Wow!!! Kathy this is FANTASTIC!
Congratulations. I was JUST (this morning) wondering when your big day was. I thought it MIGHT be today. How was the weather? You must be SO happy. You finished so quickly... You MUST have been running for some of it.
I can't wait to see pictures!
Well done.

Yep, I did some jogging & fast walking. It was cold - wind chill about 37 - but luckily no rain. We're still waiting for official results to be posted. Thanks! Kathy

Okay--no longer anonymous--I got my google id.

We had our zone meet this weekend and our 200 free relay beat the national record by 4 seconds. our 20 medley went 2 second under--but since one lady is a month from the 55 and over age, it is not a record. we will have to repeat in May when that lady is 55 :) So it was good practice. we all went our best times!

Also, I am wondering what you guys are doing about sending your bikes to Cohasset? are you sending them to a bike store? I cannot remember what you got as far as hotel rooms. I am trying to figure out whether to book near Megs or right over there. Rob thinks he might make it as well. Let me know you suggestions. Thx, Z

Wow, your relay team is phenomenal!

Tom & I are driving to Chicago with his bike, then driving to Boston. We're staying at the Rockland Comfort Inn.
